Note: Perhaps was lengthened and renamed Defender in the early 1990’s.

Note: Davie Clark Snr was twenty when he skippered Terrapin in the 1955 Regatta. He then owned the Tern and later won dipping lug cups with Margaret before getting Perhaps built. His sailing experience included crewing in the Maid of the Isles and the Sea Witch.

Note: Perhaps was named after a successful model yacht that Davie owned as a young man.
