Inter-Club Sailing Details: winner of the John Stewart Trophy in 1962.
Note: Spray was built with a deep single garbert to be eligible for the “second class” races at Westside Regattas. She competed as a fully ballasted boat in the Inter-Club and was a regular competitor from 1951 to 1980. Willie Mowat's regatta sailing dated back to the years immediately after world war one after he returned from fighting as a sniper in the Balkans campaign. He was still building Mirror dinghies in the mid 1970s.
