Bertie Mowat was a long term Committee member and former Commodore of the Inter-Club. A sailing competitor from the 1950’s and early 60’s, Bertie is best remembered for his involvement in the development of junior sailing using Cadet dinghies, instigating the building of a number of these dinghies.
